Three college students from Delhi University who go to watch the Ramleela staged in the fictitious town of Jhanjhar, Bihar disappear suddenly.A few days later, they are reported to have been killed.
The two CBI officers from Delhi sent to the village to investigate the mysterious deaths.Investigating in Jhanjhar becomes a tough task for these officers as the local police force Headed by Bhura Ram with the help of local MP's and landlords run a major branch of the Shool Sena.At the same time the two officers cannot break the ice with local Low cast community members, due to years of fear instilled in them by regular and highly planned Shool Sena attacks. Roshni (daughter of the most powerful and richest person of village) acts as a key element to reveal certain realities and give a new direction to the investigation.With this story 'Aakrosh'starring Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna, Bipasha Basu and Paresh Rawal,is all set to release on October 15.Ajay Devgn and Akshaye Khanna play the two CBI officers.Alpana Sharma(Regional officer of CBFC) initially had demanded for the deletion of certain scenes and dialogues.Just a few weeks back stuck in censor problems as there were approximately 30 cuts.The film has been granted an 'A' certificate as approached the Revising Committee by director Priyadarshan and producer Kumar Mangat.Initially, AAKROSH was slated for release on 1st October but the producers of AAKROSH decided to shift the film to 8th October to avoid the clash on release of ANJAANA ANJAANI.However, the latest development is that AAKROSH has been shifted again, to 15th October now.A record number of films will be released on 15th October:KNOCK OUT,JHOOTHA HI SAHI,DUNNO Y... NA JAANE KYON and RAMAYANA - THE EPIC [animation].
